Teaching Philosophy

My teaching philosophy centers on the importance of structured, incremental learning and creating an inclusive environment that empowers students from diverse backgrounds. Drawing from my experiences as a queer, first-generation student with a learning disability, I emphasize the value of scaffolding techniques to build students’ confidence and understanding gradually. My approach is also shaped by my practical experience as a teaching assistant and my commitment to innovation, ensuring that all students have the support and opportunities they need to succeed.
